This wine is classically petit sirah with the tell-tale combo of plentiful fruit flavor and robust tannins smoothed-out over the lengthy barrel aging proces. Barrel aged 60 months in a blend of 39% new French oak, 22% new American oak, and 39% seasoned oak. This robust red varietal, using our arid barrel room techniques emulates the Amarone style – rich, ripe berries, and very full bodied.
