90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot harvested from the Rattlesnake Hills. Part of our Heritage Series which embodies the pinnacle of our family winemaking tradition of extended arid barrel room aging. 72 months of barrel aging – extensive by any standard. The result is akin to a sauce reduction in cooking, or the famed raisining of grapes prior to fermentation done in the Amarone region. The flavors start singular and, over time, meld to become multifaceted. On lees 11 months, 37% seasoned, 37% new American, and 26% new French Oak. 0% residual sugar. Ingredients: grapes, yeast, bacteria, sulfur. Unfiltered and unfined. ABV 15.6% 138 cases
