A blend of 2016 and 2017 vintages.

Columbia Valley.  40% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon,  25% Merlot

• Natural fermentation start, supplemented within the first three brix of fermentation with an ancient isolated strain of yeast from Bordeaux. Open top fermented. 
• Sur lees 11 months.  Barrel program – all Oak –   40% new American, 40% French, 20% seasoned. 
• Unfiltered and unfined. 0% residual sugar.  15.6% abv.  146 cases.  Ingredients:  grapes, yeast, bacteria, sulfur.

• An introduction into our top tier of wine which you will find in our Heritage Series. 
• Oops! affords the opportunity to enjoy the style of wine at this level, but at our Caricature Series prices. 
• The cuvée blend includes 5 year barrel aged Cabernet Franc, 6 year barrel aged Cabernet Sauvignon, and 6 year barrel aged Merlot.
• This wine exemplifies the complexities in flavor and the delicate tannins in the finish that are the hallmarks of the arid, extended barrel aging, technique used by our family for centuries. 
• The evaporation volume loss in this wine was approximately 50%.  The result is something beyond what is standard in wine.
